We, Tecnomatrix team, decided to create this blog related to our sector of activity. In our first article you will find the objectives we have set ourselves for the creation of this space.

Tecnomatrix CEO, Industrial Engineer (specialty mechanics) and ESADE MBA. I am at the origin of different projects, such as Tecnomatrix, Measure control, Ekilateral or the Club de Automoción de ESADE (ESADE Automotive Club, available on Linkedin. ). Fond of new technologies and wannabe journalist.
Before becoming Tecnomatrix CEO, and continuing thus the family saga for the third generation, I spent 8 long years learning in the company Barcelona Centre de Tecnologies (bct), which was a very good experience. It was an engineering company proposing services of product and tool design for the automotive, aircraft and railway sectors. This is where I gathered more experience on last generation production and control means, and where I learnt how important it is to work with motivated and satisfied collaborators, as well as to give our customers an excellent service to establish a long-term relationship with them. For me, this blog enables to create positive experiences for my customers and the people related with the world of dimensional control. This blog enables to share our day-by-day stories, as well as knowledge, news and technical information. This blog helps to give a human touch to our company. This blog about checking fixtures and metrology will not be the best one you will find on Internet, but we have made ourselves and we are delighted to work on it every day with the aim of spreading out our knowledge and experiences.

Draughtsman at Tecnomatrix, working with Catia V. I started my professional carreer at Barcelona Centre de Tecnologies (bct) where I started to work as a modeller. Some time after my beginnings I started to study metrology; afterwards I came to work in an engineering department as a surface designer with the software Icem-Surf.

I spent a long period working at BCT subsidiary located in Wolfsburg, Germany, for Volkswagen Technical Center. This experience helped me acquiring strong skills for the design of surfaces.

French, I arrived in Spain in September 2007 to hold the position of export manager at Tecnomatrix.

I studied technical translation and international business: I have a Master of Technical and Scientific Translation and Documentation English/Spanish from the UPPA (Pau University, France), as well as a MBA of Management and International Business from the INSEEC Business School (Bordeaux, France).

I am currently working on the development of our customer portfolio abroad, and on the strengthening of the relationships of our company with the French market. My objective is to develop our business relationships with the United Kingdom and Germany. In my opinion, this blog is very useful to meet this target, since it shows to our current and potential customers our values of seriousness and quality through an interactive website, and enable us to know your opinion thanks to the comments you send us. Internet consultant and Web applications developper, located in Terrassa (near Barcelona).

Development of custom-made Web applications for different sectors and technologies, although I am getting specialised in PHP/MySQL. Here are some examples of solutions I have programmed: ERP for universities, Tecnomatrix ERP, CRMs, project management applications, manufacturing time control, etc.

Among other projects, I am currently working for Tecnomatrix as a consultant for IT issues, as well as for their Web strategy. I started to work with Xavier 10 years ago as an external collaborator for BCT, and we have maintained a close relationship since then.

I started to programme Tecnomatrix ERP in 1998 and I am, since then, in charge of its maintenance and of the development of its new applications. Lately, I have been assessing all the management for the creation of this blog. This has been an interesting experience, which is why I would like to do my bit on this blog.

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my family, or to go to the mountain for a bike ride or a walk.

Graduated in Computer Science at Barcelona Autonomous University since 1993, my specialty is picture processing.

I started to work in this field by analysing and developping control systems for particle accelerators for Geneva European Laboratory for Particle Physics (C.E.R.N.).

In 1995, I got a position in an engineering company located in Girona (Spain) to develop and integrate artificial vision systems for quality and metrology control, and check of the wear-and-tear of parts in movement. In a period in which vision systems were only in their early stages in the Spanish industry, I started to work with a system based on parallel architecture processors created by Visio Nerf – France – team of engineers.

I currently design and implement full solutions of artificial vision for my own company, Baixcat Visión. I chose the most suitable solution according to my customers’ requirements, from simple and cheap systems using intelligent cameras, to more complex systems based on PC architecture or specific processors.

Measurecontrol shows Xavier’s enthusiasm and interest in knowing new techniques. This is why I am glad to collaborate actively to his project.

• Antonio Onteniente – antonio.onteniente[at]ontledge[dot]com

Graduated in Physical Science and MBA ESADE. Over the past, I worked in multinational companies of the automotive supply chain, where I held positions of R&D, Projects and Business Director. I am currently one of the Directors of the company ONTLEDGE S.L.. This company is a CONSULTING-ENGINEERING COMPANY specialised in the automotive and its supply chain. ONTLEDGE team consists of a group of engineers expert in several areas, such as quality, lean manufacturing, six sigma, supply chain management, stamped parts design and processing.
I am very interested in Xavier Conesa’s blog project, and I like his enthusiasm at work. We have immediately accepted to collaborate to this blog by explaining the experience we have gathered over more than 3,000 projects managed by Ontledge.

In many cases, we have had to work with companies that do not follow at all a method based on facts. We have always bet on the scientific method and the good measurement as keys for the success of a project. We will explain how and why in our articles.

Independent Consultant, Aircraft Engineer, Graduated in Business Science.

I work mainly in the Business Development area, as much locally as internationally, by using my experience and knowledge in order to get results in situations where all parties can get mutual profits.

I collaborate to the expansion of TECNOMATRIX on international markets. I agree with their strategy based on an excellent and personnalised service, and I am convinced that in an era of communication like the one we are currently living, in which knowledge is totally accessible, we must share experiences in order to generate satisfactory business and personal relationships based on cooperation – rather than on the out-of-date model of competition -.
